The first blog of the rest of my life

Abi got me to blog. I am hoping that my blog will be one of those that knocks everyone's socks off. Hahaha. Maybe I should make this into a blog about my journey from fatdom into thindom. Women like that. Anyway, thanks to Abi for being patient for a few minutes to get me started. She's the daughter that everyone wishes they had. They are all jealous of me :o) She's adorable. Her smile is 500 watts. She is caring. She is sweet. She is smart, and has a great head on her shoulders. And she is not phony or born-again or anything like that. She just is. The Big Kahuna blessed me a thousand-fold. The fear and trepidation that a single mom experiences when she establishes a discipline routine (read: habit) with her kids is like stepping outside of the space shuttle into the vacuum of space. Anything can happen, and you rely upon your guts to guide you. My guts must be in ok shape, because she came out of the oven fully baked, completely risen, and golden brown. I don't adore her. I merely worship her. I love you, Abi. You rock. But you need to let everyone know that. No one listens to moms. They will listen to you before they listen to me. Blow your horn. Don't wait until you are almost 50 before you learn how. Jump in. If it is cold, wait a minute and you will acclimate. Love, Mom.
